A baby is the start of a new life. These tiny humans can even melt a heart of stone. So it’s no surprise that photographer Amanda Steinbacher saw the potential in photographing them. The heartwarming story behind this Pentax Spotmatic
At The Phobloographer, we love the stories you don’t read every day. The story behind this Pentax Spotmatic certainly caught our attention. Daimon Wright bought the Pentax which he describes as “a pretty young man”. The previous owner had taken it on a trip and used it as a creative way to propose to his girlfriend. Handing him the camera, she brought it to her eye and at that moment, she saw the words on the sensor “Marry Me”. Read the full story here.
Krysada Phounsiri is powerful and heartwarming
Fears, however they look, are rarely associated with wellness stories. Many people who are afraid suffer from anxiety and low self-esteem. However, it does not always have to be so. Photographer Krysada Phounsiri aka Snap Pilots wanted to help people come to terms with their fears and fall in love with themselves. Speaking about his motivation, Snap Pilots said: “I am an advocate for empowering voices, and my goal is to help bring visibility to the under-represented.” Take a look at the series here.
Michel Leroy took advantage of the pandemic
COVID-19 has been a difficult time for all of us. Our forties put many of us in a situation we had never experienced before. Many photographers took the opportunity to get creative. Michel Leroy was one of them. Having not taken a single photo in a month, Leroy reunited his family, set up his home studio and got to work. He created this image based on the classic cover of AC / DC’s Highway to Hell. In 2020, he guided us through the process of creating photography. You can read about it here.
