Jennifer Lawrence got stoned for real to play stoner astronomer in “Don’t Look Up”

Jennifer Lawrence will soon be seen in “Don’t Look Up,” Netflix’s upcoming dark comedy in which she and Leonardo DiCaprio play astronomers who try to warn the President (Meryl Streep) that a massive comet is on its way. collision with Earth and destroy the planet.

In the film, Lawrence’s character tends to calm his nerves with a puff or two, and in a new interview with Yahoo! Entertainment she revealed that she used a little marijuana-based method while getting high for real.

According to Lawrence, she requested permission to get fucked hard for a scene, acting opposite Streep, in which her character has no dialogue.

“Because my character was getting high in the movie“, Laurent explained.

What she didn’t realize, however, was that her co-stars would use her altered state as an opportunity to play with her.

“I was a real target,” Lawrence remembers. “Everyone was fucked up with me… I guess I was high.” Easy to fuck with.

Lawrence – who recently announced that she and her husband Cooke Maroney were expecting their first child – was quick to point out that she “wasn’t pregnant” at the time.

“Don’t Look Up” premiered in select theaters on December 10 before his debut on Netflix on 24 december.
