Manila, Philippines – The top 32 contestants of Miss Universe Philippines 2022 presented evening dresses from different Filipino designers during the preliminary pageant on Wednesday, April 27 at The Cove Manila.

The reigning Miss Universe of the Philippines, Beatrice Luigi Gomez, hosted the preliminaries with actor Marco Gumabao. Also in attendance was Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, who was part of the selection committee for this year’s preliminary pageant.

The winner of this year’s pageant will be crowned by Gomez, who finished in the Top 5 of the 70th Miss Universe. Past winners Pia Wurtzbach, Iris Mittenaere and Demi-Leigh Tebow are set to host the coronation party on April 30. – Rappler.com
