Of course, no nostalgic ’80s property like Masters of the Universe: Revelation would be complete without a full line of marketing products. FYE just revealed a very appropriate Revelation-Brand item, a cereal named Eternia Crunch. And since no ’80s-style cereal would be complete without a price, each box of Eternia Crunch includes a small Battle Cat toy. See the tweet announcement in the space below:

Battle Cat is of course the fierce, shy tiger of Prince Adam, whom Cringer (played in Apocalypse by Stephen Root) becomes whenever Adam calls upon Grayskull’s power and transforms into He-Man. Battle Cat is actually so huge and powerful that He-Man is able to saddle him and ride him like a horse. The little fighting cat included in the Eternia Crunch cereal is naturally not the only one Revelation figurine that will be available for fans. Indeed, a whole range of Revelation toys is released in conjunction with the new Netflix show. There is also a Masters of the Universe: Revelation prequel comic that promises to tie together various He-Man timelines.

And for worried fans, Smith may have strayed too far from the spirit of the original. Masters of the Universe show with his reboot, Smith himself recently assured that he hadn’t “reinvented” He-Man. This despite the fact that the new show features somewhat older versions of the original characters (as previewed with the action figures). Fans will actually get an in-depth look at Smith’s thinking about his particular take on He-Man, as each episode will include a commentary track (Smith likes to talk). Now, thanks to FYE, He-Man fanatics can watch and listen while eating their Eternia Crunch cereal and playing with their Battle Cat toy. Masters of the Universe: Revelation arrives on Netflix on July 23, 2021.
