They lived at 19 New King Street in Bath, which now houses the Herschel Museum of Astronomy.
The guestbook is a vellum-bound volume, compiled by Caroline from the mid-1780s, when she and her brother were living in Datchet, near Windsor. Written in Caroline’s own hand, it lists more than a hundred names of people who have come to see them – often including the king and queen, accompanied by members of the court – to look through William’s telescopes.
Scientists, writers, artists, politicians and foreign royalty are all present. Joseph Haydn, Benjamin Franklin and Fanny Burney are among the guests.
The book had been on long-term loan to the museum since 1996 – kindly provided by Dr and Mrs A Koester – and the museum recently had the opportunity to purchase it.

Serena said the loss of her mother made her realize even more that she wanted to help people who needed help. The traumatic experience of his life taught him to do good in the community.
“Dubai is my home”
“I was born British with Indian roots. I am a third generation Indian from the UK, but I have lived in Dubai for 10 years now. This is home. Dubai is one of the most beautiful and most dynamic in the world. The multicultural aspect of the city fascinates me.

“I wore a golden abaya. My national costume was in the colors of gold and white to represent the Expo 2020 Dubai logo. I couldn’t have thought of a better way to dress for my national costume,” said Serena, whose hobbies include travel, reading, cooking and yoga.
She added: “Being a third generation British Indian, I was fortunate to learn about both British Indian and Punjabi cultures and history from my elders. This, coupled with my decade in the United Arab Emirates, allowed me to understand and learn from a variety of cultures.
Working for Determined Children
Serena said she was able to achieve great mental peace working with determined children and those with long-term illnesses. “Creating a positive environment for a child with special needs doesn’t require you to be an expert. Patience, care and foresight are enough,” said Serena, who is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.
Serena will travel to Seoul, South Korea in June for the main event of Mrs Universe.

“I want to create a place where a woman can seek help with anxiety, depression or fear. An environment where they feel comfortable talking openly and receiving any help or advice they might need. I want to start a holistic clinic and rejuvenation center that offers different types of therapy and help. With my background and experience in psychology, I hope to help women in any way possible. Together we can work to make us better.I want to solve problems that no one wants but everyone deserves help.
Serena will be traveling to Seoul, South Korea in June for the Mrs Universe event.
She will be among 95 delegates to compete for the crown, which is meant to celebrate the uniqueness of married women.

This budget points the way to near-term recovery. The Minister of Finance has announced huge capital expenditures. It will establish a solid foundation for the long term. As we are still recovering from the wounds inflicted by the pandemic, I think it was wise to be careful and careful when drafting future policies. There are many challenges ahead of our economy and due to the disruption caused by Covid, it will take time to recover. The middle class is disappointed because tax rates have not been reduced. The figures show that the Indian economy is recovering from the impacts of Covid and this is a positive sign. There have been no major changes in Aam Aadmi’s expenses because of this budget.

Disappointed by Huge Crypto Tax
I don’t pretend to be an expert on the budget, nor do I understand the deep intricacies. Recently, I started to learn more about cryptocurrencies and their uses. Digital Rupee is to be launched by RBI in 2022-23 using Blockchain technology, the finance minister has said. Besides the 30% tax, there is an announcement of 1% withholding tax (TDS) on payments made when transferring digital assets. I think this tax should be a little less. Although the digital rupee is a welcome step, many young people like me have become aware of the workings, operations and transactions of stock markets and digital currencies. There is no point in India living in the shadows and staying away from this modern form of transactions. I realize that this is a delicate point on which to formulate a policy. So it’s a good step that we are now considering at least getting into digital currency. Digital transactions have now become mainstream in India and I am sure digital currency will be popular as well. However, I was a little disappointed with the lack of change in the income tax brackets.

No respite for farmers
I was not able to spot the major announcements for the agricultural sector. Farmers like me were hoping for an announcement or package from the union government after unseasonal rains and cyclones had impacted the agricultural sector for the past few years. I got the impression that the issue of rising fuel prices was also not addressed. For farmers and ordinary people, these are the important points to face in daily life. I think there should have been a specific announcement of a new scheme for farmers or an increase in compensation through the various schemes that already exist. The agricultural sector is already in trouble. Due to the uncertainty of weather conditions, farmers and their families are already under immense burden. Sometimes such climatic events have an impact on the quantity and quality of our products. After the union budget, the state budget will be presented next month. I hope that some of our problems will at least be solved in this budget.

Digital rupee, university a welcome step
I found three rather interesting announcements in the budget. The first is the introduction of the digital rupee, the use of drones in the agricultural sector and digital universities. The use of technology is increasing in all sectors and if we are to keep up with the advancements of this era, there must be the use of modern technology in all sectors. Furthermore, such programs should not remain on paper and should also reach the lower strata of society. People should have easy access to it, only then will it impact their lives. Writing policies alone is not enough. There should also be effective implementation. Often ordinary people don’t realize the hype of the union’s annual budget. If they see that the provisions in the budget are reaching them, they will also understand its importance.

Well-equipped health infrastructure, a far-fetched dream
It was a disappointing budget for the health sector. After facing three waves of Ccovid, there were expectations for the healthcare sector. Increase in the number of doctors and more medical faculties, but nothing was planned for that.
There should have been an allowance for the research and development of vaccines and other crucial medicines that we have to import. Emphasis should also be placed on research and development of new medical equipment, as this is a crucial part of treatment. For the health sector, this budget is neither relevant nor imaginative. The pandemic is not over and we may have to deal with further waves of massive infection. Also, during this period, we realized the crucial need for a well-equipped health infrastructure. Advanced hospitals, developed healthcare infrastructure, abundant medical manpower will not only benefit us in dealing with this pandemic but also in the future. Generations can benefit from it. Infrastructure everywhere, medical research, medical colleges, nursing institutes, importation of drugs and substitute equipment is under the union government and every year these things have to be taken care of .
