Judge Block and star interior designer Darren Palmer has shelled out big bucks to live in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the country.

Judge Block and interior designer Darren Palmer and his partner, cosmetics businessman Olivier Duvillard, are the latest to join the ranks in Byron Bay.

They opted for the quieter parkland of Suffolk rather than the bustling city, splashing out $3.85million on a swanky home just 100 yards from Tallow Beach.

Featuring a saltwater swimming pool, overlooked by a wooden entertaining area in tropical gardens, the two-level house spans 720 m². It backs onto the bush, with a path leading down to the beach from the back door.

It has four bedrooms, all located upstairs. Three have access to its wrap-around balcony. The dining room and family room open to the outdoor entertaining area.

The house was sold by McGrath Byron Bay agents Ian Daniels and Susan Whyte.

The late 1980s home last sold for $770,000 in 2005, with the pool added just a few years ago. There are plans in place for further extension and refurbishment.

The center is planned for an approximately 110-acre site located near the intersection of State Road 79 and West Bay Parkway at the entrance to the Latitude Margaritaville Watersound community. This community of active adults, which should include 3,500 homes, welcomed its first residents at the end of 2021.
