Astrologers alert Jagan and the government to create another district

The state government decided to create another tax district in the state. The Council of Ministers to be held on April 7 will give the green light for the new district. The new district would propose Rampachodavaram as its headquarters. It would be the third district in the state exclusively for Scheduled Tribes, after Manyam and Alluri Sitharama Raju districts.

The new district would be separated from Alluri Sitharama Raju district and East Godavari district, bringing the total number of districts to 27. Astrologers reportedly alerted Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to the inauspicious number 26.

The state government had created 13 new districts in addition to the existing 13 new districts. With this, the total number of districts increased to 26.

Although Jagan Mohan Reddy promised to create new districts with the parliamentary constituency as the basis, he created 26 districts against 25 parliamentary constituencies in the state. Manyam district with Parvathipuram as its seat is an additional district.

Now, beyond that number, the chief minister is said to have decided to create another district with Rampacodavaram as its headquarters. This new district would include the Assembly constituencies of Rampachodavaram and Polavaram.

However, there are also reports that the Chief Minister wishes to name it Polavaram District as he is dedicating the Polavaram project to the nation in 2023 in memory of his late father and former Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Jagan Mohan Reddy also plans to install his father’s statue on the Polavaram project site and name the new neighborhood after the project.
