RedFOX Labs, a prolific Southeast Asian business creator, has partnered with Miss Universe Philippines (PH) to make history as the world’s first beauty pageant to feature a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFT).
The Miss Universe PH NFT Collection was released on September 24 and is available for purchase using the RFOX token through MetaMask or Uniswap.
NFTs are digital assets that can represent a wide variety of real-world concepts, such as the ownership of unique works of art, videos, game items, and other collectibles.
By partnering with Miss Universe Philippines, RedFOX Labs has made it possible for fans to own unique digital collectibles from their favorite contestants in the form of NFT cards, which feature the top 30 beauties in their glory.
These prized collectibles have a limited supply of 9,900 units in total, which consists of four unique NFTs for each of the top 30 contestants that come in varying degrees of rarity, including Common (6,000 units), Uncommon (2,700 units) , Rare (900 units) and Mythic (300 units). These NFT cards can be stored, traded and sold as physical assets, allowing owners to earn money.
Several notable names have also jumped into the NFT craze by creating and publishing their own NFT collections such as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Ellen DeGeneres, Snoop Dogg, and Manny Pacquiao.
