NEGRENSE whose roots are from EB Magalona, ​​Negros Occidental joined the prestigious Miss Universe Philippines contest and currently landed in the top 50.
Miss Angela Nikki De Grano, 28, a Magna Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management at La Consolacion College Bacolod City, was among more than 400 contestants for the world-famous beauty and brain pageant.
She was among the top 100 applicants who reached the top 75 and is currently in the top 50.
Four Negrens joined for the first time, but only two of them – one representing the town of Bacolod – remained in the know.
Angela has successfully overcome challenges which include a head shot, video intro, video casting challenge, and a track or walk from Pasarela, a Latin word for a pageant walk.
Her mother, Connie, explained that when she was still in her womb, she began to instill in her consciousness that she was his “Miss Universe”.
“I remember telling her many times in my womb about my dream of her being in Miss Universe. And luckily, it came to fruition. I greeted her several times – how is my Miss Universe? I hadn’t. realized that I had reinforced those words now, â€she said.
Angela is the second of three children she has had who is a versatile and beautiful person inside out.
While competing in the Miss Universe pageant, she worked as the senior relationship manager for a Singapore-based company and was proud to represent Filipino workers overseas.
She heard about the Miss Universe pageant online and applied independently.
This is the first time that the organizers of Miss Universe Philippines 2021 have relaxed the size requirement.
She is 5’3 “, a typical Filipino petite with a brown complexion.
She can dance, sing and excels academically.
Things have become favorable to her and she rejoices over it as it progresses with admiration, shares her mother.
The beauty pageant she first joined was in search of Miss LCC Bacolod and luckily she won the crown in 2013.
Next up is the Miss Universe Philippines pageant and she is preparing well for the next beauty pageant which will be held on September 25 in Manila.
His glam team is made up of local artists who have volunteered to help him reach the top.
She recently had her photoshoots at Raphaella Mill, Campuestohan Highland Resort in Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City.
Angela wishes everyone good luck and seeks the support of every Negrense on her journey to Miss Universe Philippines.
