Kisses Delavin took fans on a trip to her hometown of Masbate, as she went horseback riding and boating for her Miss Universe Philippines sightseeing video.
The actress visited various tourist sites in the province such as beaches and churches. She also rode a horse on a local sandbar and grassland, as seen on Empire Philippines’ YouTube channel on Tuesday, September 7.
âWhen you open the map of the Philippines, it’s in the heart of the Philippine archipelago that my hometown is Masbate. I’m proud of that fact, âDelavin said.
The âPinoy Big Brotherâ alum also showed off local produce and cuisine, talking about the âpostcard-worthy sightsâ and ârodeo actionâ of the province.
âMasbate would be viewed by tourists as a dream destination, but for me Masbate is more than that,â Delavin told fans. âI have lived a busy life here. With these wonderful people, almost every corner, every place has a special memory with people I know and love.
âI have lived here for 15 years and its beauty still surprises me every day. I am proud of this province, âshe added.
The video has gained over 437,000 views at the time of writing.
Delavin previously won first place in the Miss Universe Philippines Intro and Shoot Video challenges. She was also one of the contestants who reached the Final 30 of the beauty pageant.
The Miss Universe Philippines organization started with an initial list of 100 delegates. For this year, the organization gave its candidates a series of challenges to determine who would advance further in the competition.
The top 75 was announced on August 8 and the list was reduced to 50 on August 22.
